ESE: A Top Management Business School
ESE is the Business School of the Universidad de los Andes and was founded in 1999, with the aim of developing educational programs for business executives and, through them, influencing the business environment in Chile. ESE has a clear orientation towards business executives and is the first Business School exclusively dedicated to programs for graduate students.
Mission
ESE’s mission is to provide a service to society in general and to the business environment in particular through a highly demanding and high quality educational work, supported by a strong research on the problems affecting companies.
Through its programs, ESE intends to contribute to the knowledge development and personal growth of business men and women, strengthening their managerial skills as well as the human virtues required for management.
High Management Education
ESE is defined as an academic center for the graduate education of business¬persons and managers:
- Dedicated to science development in a free and responsible framework, maintaining the necessary academic rigor in research and teaching.
- Based on the concept of education as a transforming experience, that allows each person to extract from himself/herself their maximum potentiality.
- Committed to the development of the necessary capabilities for the practice of management, emphasizing the ethical aspects of it.
- Oriented at an improvement of problem analysis and the decision making process, with a basically practical approach that helps to develop a judgment aptitude in different contexts.
- That collaborates with companies’ High Management in their strategic planning and management team development.
